Parking
Parking
Parking can be a problem in Savannah's National Landmark Historic District (Downtown). Plan to arrive in the Historic District at least 30 minutes prior to start time to allow for parking. Make sure you put more than 2 hours on the meter! Our Meter Maids are the most efficient city employees ever!
Save yourself a great deal of worry and money by using the Ellis Square Parking Deck 1/2 block south of W. Bay Street and then walking one block east to Johnson Square. Please note that the few surface lots downtown are NOT owned by the city and if you use them, you will be towed.
If by chance the Ellis Square Parking Deck is full, there are two more decks close by: The State Street Deck at the corner of E. State St. & Drayton St. and the Bryan Street Parking Deck at the corner of E. Bryan St. and Drayton.
